Community Assistance Program

 

People, age 18 to 64, who are struggling with drug , alcohol and mental health related barriers and other challenges in your lives—as defined by the Ministry of Social Development. Most importantly the program will be built to fit your wants and needs.

 

Assistance with filing out forms
Assistance with getting to & from appointments
Assistance with finding a Doctor or Dentist
Nutritious lunches Tuesdays and Thursdays
Free clothing shop
Confidential one-to-one support with people who really care about you as a person and your individual life needs
Assistance with putting together a positive plan for the future
Referrals to all the resources you need to put your plan into action
Workshops that are interesting and relevant to your life
You will gain knowledge and skills to use in your every day life.

 

Call your Ministry office  and ask if you are eligible and how you can be referred to the CAP 2 Program at Nanaimo Youth Services Association.


After the referral from the Ministry we will contact you to arrange a one to one intake appointment. We will meet wherever you will feel most comfortable.
