The John Howard Society of BC is an association of 9 regional societies operating in 15 communities throughout the province. The society offers a wide range of programs and activities for adults and youths involved in conflict with the law.

Amber Education Services Ltd. is founded on the concept that individuals take charge of their economic lives by being proactive in their career paths. Be it entrepreneurs starting their own business or intrapreneurs seeking training, Amber's role is to facilitate that change with compassionate professionalism stemming from facts, experience and understanding.

Through a number of diversity activities, the Action for Diversity Team, an initiative of the Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society works with other members of the community to create a society where all members feel safe and secure, and diversity is respected and welcomed. 

Global Vocational Services Inc. provides the Wage Subsidy Program in the Central Vancouver Island area. Through this program, which is funded by the federal government, they provide financial assistance to businesses who hire new employees, and provide on the job skill development. SET Supporting Employment Transitions (SET) provides employment needs assessments and referral services to unemployed individuals and assists them to access services and programs.
