Join us every Sunday from noon to 4:30 at Nanaimo Youth Services Association's OneStop space (red door around back) for an afternoon of music instruction, practice and performance. We have a drumset, guitars, bass and keyboards, handdrums and a fully functional recording studio setup.

 

If you have your own instruments - bring em! 

 

We start with a simple lunch and snacks, juice and coffee (fuel for inspiration) and then get down to the business of music instruction, jamming, recording, writing or shooting video - in short, learning and creating.

 

All youth between the ages of 13 and 26 are welcome! Come participate and express yourself!

NYSA's popular Tune-In music program has won the Keg's Thanks a Million Contest and is kicking off the summer with a cool $25,000. The money will go towards purchasing some highly specialized and much needed equipment for the program. Coordinator, Jona Kristinsson says a new sound board and computer for the recording room are at the top of the wish list.
